PHOTO: Breastfeeding in the flowers

Just received some beautiful pictures back from a family photoshoot with Clare Wilson Photography.

We went to the serenely stunning Confetti Fields in Pershore on the last of their open days this year (30 June).

Henry wanted milk mid-shoot. Not really surprising for a 10 month-old!

And Clare captured this.

I love it. I feel so natural and I’m smiling because he is grinning up at me.

I’ll be honest, I never expected to be breastfeeding this long (nearly a year) nor to enjoy it so much. But here I am. I’ll eventually note down my nursing trials and tribulations on this blog. But despite them all (and popping a nipple bleb yesterday) I’m glad I have been able to breastfeed Henry. If just for moments like the one in this picture.
