PHOTOS: Tatton Park (Ice stitches)
I recently visited Tatton Park gardens in north Cheshire – and as it was a sunny, end of summer, afternoon I took my camera.
Look out for more traditional photographs soon – here are a couple of stitches I tried. I’m very happy with the Central maze sculptural stitch.
Tatton Park Panorma
As a complete aside, shortly after this I treated myself to a very decadent pot of Darjeeling tea and a slice of Belgian white chocolate and macadamia nut baked cheese cake. It seemed appropriate, though obviously not in keeping with my diet (however that day I had reached the grand total of 5lbs lost in the first month of the diet – which I thought deserved a small, if completely self-defeating reward…).
‘Man’ at the centre of the Tatton Park maze
I confess it did take me a rather long time to escape the maze!
